The macro wind farm project, located just at 14 km. de la Costa, foresees an installation of 18 km long by 10 km wide with 80 wind turbines of 254 m height and 236 diameter of blades (rotating and with night lighting), 320 macro anchors and the corresponding wiring, as well as a minimum 40 or 45 km of very high voltage line crossing the Gulf of Roses, the Aiguamolls Natural Park and the Empordà plain.

This shows that although the energy produced is green, it does not mean that the project is in any case sustainable, as evidenced by the major short- and long-term impacts on fishing, the landscape, the environment and tourism.

For this reason, the association of diving centers, which is committed to the conservation and protection of the territory, has joined the platform and contributes to denouncing the situation.
